This is even better than the second part. :) I'm really enjoying it.

This series is really excellent! Dark stuff, but God knows there's plenty of silly fluff out there as an antidote, if needed. I know this isn't canon, but I've always felt that Wilson has some unpleasant depths to him. It seems on the show that everyone thinks Wilson is a saint for putting up with House, but they understand each other much too well for that to be the case. Your take on this works for me!

I think that Canon Wilson is ultimately good, but he's definitely got secrets. I think he tends to gloss over things he regrets, but that's not going to work here.

I'm still stuck by the scene from "Humpty Dumpty" when Wilson picks up House's phone, that's an old married people gesture if ever I saw one. They just know each other.

Thanks for your kind words.

Only in the world of House will someone be able to bring someone else drugs as a way of saying they're sorry.
It's tough to be as sympathetic to the assailant as to the victim, even if it is Wilson, but I'm trying. Another chapter might help. *G*
Thank you for this. Intelligence, thought, depth, RESEARCH for gods sake...I doff my chapeau.

I've been pretty good about gettting a chapter done each week. I finally started writing part four about an hour ago. I need to accomplish two main things in it, and I know how I'm going to do one of them, so we'll see how long it takes.

I do have to work up to the headspace I need in order to write this stuff. The writing itself is surprisingly easy, but the emotional prep work is very tough. Part three was much harder than part two.

Thanks for reading and comment. I kind of think that this part got lost in the shuffle, but I hope people who are interested will eventually find it.

Actually, I found this one and then had to go back and read the original source, then 2. And three was HARDER than two? Two almost had me crying. I understand about the emotional prep work. Intense writing will only work if you're truly into it, that's the only way it'll seem real. At least, that's always been my thought.
I'll be waiting for 4.
