Just a bunch of drabbles

Water splashed against the tile as lanky limbs draped over porcelain edges and she dropped her gaze. A screech of wooden posts along a hard surface echoed in the room as he maneuvered the chair in a circle and straddled it backwards.

He eyed her warningly as soon as her eyes darted towards the electrical socket near the door. “If you’re going to extract the energy from the socket; you’ll only be making my job easier.”

“Why did you lie to me?” he had his eyes on her but she refused to meet them, keeping her gaze down on the table as she took a deep sigh.

“There were a lot of factors… I…” she stumbled through her words but british accents cut through.

“There weren’t any factors, Jenny.” He moved forward, pulling out the chair to sit down. Sitting across from her, he continued, his tone a bit rushed, “I specifically asked …” he paused, looking as if he needed to compose himself, “she specifically asked you if you were special.”

She lifted her head up just as his voiced hardened, “You lied to her, she’s had enough lies in her life, I think it’s about time she deserves some truth.” The chair slid back, legs screeching against the floor and he snapped his head up, eyes trained on the young woman. Her fingers drummed against the table top, locking eyes with Mohinder,

“I never wanted her to know about this… for fear that she would compare me to the man who killed her parents.”

There was a long pause as Mohinder stilled and Jenny took notice. His eyes narrowed in response, leaning against the table, “You just said ‘her parents’” Her eyes ever so widened as knuckles turned white. She clutched the arm of the chair as her voice began to crack.

“No, I said ‘our’”

Mohinder glanced quickly to the door behind her, bringing his attention back as he shook his head slightly. The look on the woman’s face changed from confused to raged in a matter of seconds and the doctor watched as the air began to shatter around her.

The transformation started from the outer lines of her body as petite shoulders became broad and her height increased by a good 7 inches. It ended with the face as lips curved unnaturally into a grin and dark eyes replaced green. Only when the air around Sylar’s body had stilled did the doctor move.

“Not the way I wanted this to go, but sacrifices must be made.” Sylar drawled, watching as the other man bounded up from his chair and began to backup. He grinned, “It’s good to see you again, Mohinder.”

He looked rather smug with himself as he leaned back in the chair, eyes surveying the room like a hawk.

Mohinder found it difficult to speak with the dominating presence in the room but he needed answers, “So Jenny didn’t have an ability?” The tone was faltering, his nerves getting the better of him. It didn’t seem to phase Sylar however, as he planted his foot down and straightened up.

“No… she did,” he said dismissively, absently observing the wood grains of the table before lifting his eyes up, “but then again, what would I do with a duplicate power?”

“Telekinesis?” The word sounded awkward coming out of his mouth as the tone made it sound more like a squeak than an actual male voice. Sylar only grinned, showing blinding white teeth and Mohinder mumbled, “You were telling the truth…”

He heard a shift in weight, observing Sylar lean over the table ever so slightly, “See… not everything I told you was a lie.” The movement was short lived as he reversed and leaned back in the chair once more, “Have a little faith, doctor.”

Pulling his attention from the doctor, he wandered his eyes around the room, glancing over his shoulder at the bedroom door down the hall, “I see the little one isn’t here.”

“Why would you think that?”

He smirked, tilting his head back towards Mohinder, “She’s a smart girl, I’m sure she would have heard something and then come running.” Fingers clicked against the table as he added, “a trait both brave and stupid.” He caught a quick glimpse of Mohinder’s face; the way his eyes dropped downwards and the curve of his lip as it frowned both amazed and disgusted him.

“So…” he broke in, when the silence became too evident, “Where is she? I did say I had a surprise for her.”

“You’re not touching her!” Mohinder snapped, causing Sylar to jerk back slightly in his chair but he was sure that was just a play. Sylar couldn’t have been that easy to overpower.

He looked almost hurt; his lip curving down to quickly bound back up in a smirk “But Mohinder, I’m here on different terms.” He said, sarcasm dripping from his tone. The geneticist wasn’t swayed as he continued to glare at the man before him. A sly smile crept on the killer’s face as he responded to the scowl, “I’m actually here to reunite the families I’ve torn apart…”

Trailing off his statement, he found the doctors’ glare narrow as his normally soft voice spat, “You’re sick.”

As the sound of the front door opening pulled Mohinder’s attention towards the door, Sylar took the opportunity to morph back into little Molly’s sister. When Mohinder returned his gaze back on Sylar, he jumped back slightly at the image of Jenny, as a feminine voice dripped with confidence replied “I know.”

He held her back, his arms wrapped tightly around her torso as she kicked against him. It hurt to hear her screams as Bennett continued to motion for him to take her out of the room, his attention pulled elsewhere.

The young girl lunged, squirmed and stretched in his grasp as he moved backwards, the hot tears that streamed down her face, making mini pools on the skin of his arm as he relaxed his grip. A screaming choke emerged from her throat as she broke free, her body rushing forward as she was once again snatched by another set of hands.

Matt pulled a strong arm around her waist, keeping her still as she sobbed against his shoulder. She threw weakened fists against his chest as the tears continued to flow down her cheeks. “He didn’t do it…” she said, coughing through her words as Matt looked over at Mohinder, bringing his attention to the bloody body on the floor.

Bennett gave the two another glare as he kept his gun pointed at the young man’s head. The girl pulled away from Matt’s grasp but he kept his hold, moving backwards towards the door. A loud shot rang through the room and she screamed but Mohinder blocked her view, guiding her out of the trailer.

Once they had exited the room, Matt loosened his grip as the young girl lunged forward causing Mohinder to wrap his hands around her shoulders as he spoke calmly to her, “Its okay, you need to calm down.” She squeezed her eyes shut, repeating a phrase over and over, “Let him go, let him go, let him go…”

Sylar wasn’t one for wasting time. Mohinder had come to realize this after patience had worn thin and his body was thrown against the desk. Long, pale fingers trickled delicately across his cheek before stiffening and sending the doctor’s head into a pile of papers.

Wrists were unceremoniously pinned against wood and a flat stomach that heaved against an open drawer moved without rhythm.

“Why don’t we do things my way.” He hissed against his ear, taking a second to nip at the dark skin of his neck. Mohinder arched back into his form, friction rubbing against his inner thigh, eliciting a moan from both their lips.
