A summarical recounting of events between now and my last journal entry

May 27, 2005 20:25

Well, for all my adoring fans who thought I'd never write again, who lay awake at night, wondering, "why hasn't Adam written any more journal entries?" or "what will I do if I can't read Adam's journal entries," and for the occassional person who broke down and wept quietly to themselves when they thought no one was watching--I'm back, baby ( Read more... )

Mr. Baldwin,

First of all, I never wept waiting for your entries. In fact, I was not even sure you had a live journal, so there. Secondly, I move onto the fine topic of grammar. WHO CARES!!!! This is not, nor ever will be (God Willing) a scholarly work.

Secondly, Adam you big head is getting the best of you. An autobiography is a bit too much. You need a few more years, and a few more experiences.

Night y'all,
Chris

P.S. Adam you do begin with a conjuction ("But on the other hand, he wasn't evil or anything, and I enjoyed his company."), and you never put a comma before because! For Rob and Josh, take a nap; it would be a better use of your times. In fact, I am shocked you read the entry so throughly; I prefer a nice skim. Ok, I am done being a jerk. You guys have a wonderful, fun-filled day.

P.P.S. Mike I agree!

Oh Chris, I know you cried. I won't tell anybody, though. Just know this: you're not alone, my friend, you're not alone. And you're right, I don't care about the grammar, but you don't have to tell me that. Tell the lingusitic Nazis who accosted me. But, I thought that when challenged, I put up a pretty good showing. Also, I know I started some sentences in my entry with conjunctions, and am doing so in this comment as well, but my claiming not to have begun any sentences with conjunctions in my above self-defense pertained only to that self-defense, in which I was forced to demoonstrate my awe-inspiring powers grammatical, syntactical, and all other things linguistic. Lastly, Chris, despite your claim to the contrary, you must've read my entry rather thoroughly in order to have gleaned that quotation. See? I'm on to you.

Jake, Jake, Jake, can't you see? Can't you see you're in love with him?! (Don't forget, I am an expert psychologist/psychiatrist)But, maybe Graham has changed; he didn't used to be evil. In fact, when he was under my tutelage he sort of was a little bit like a marginally upstanding citizen. But he does think he's a lot smarter than he is; I'll give you that one.

In any event, I believe that it is better to shepherd a lost soul than to desert it (that's pretty freakin' poetic, huh? And I just made that up right here on the spot). I don't hate anyone, and I doubt I can bring myself to do so in this case.

And it's a pretty well-known fact that I am an exceptionally decent person.
