What's more, your comment, drawing my attention to this age-old entry, led me to re-read what I had heretofore written--and I must admit to you, I chuckled to myself on at least several occasions--and I was left, at its end, with that most pleasant of feelings: well-deserved self-satisfaction.
I suppose my point then, is, while I thank you for your constructive criticism, and I tip my hat to the spirit of kindness in which it was so obviously written, I think I'll disregard it entirely, as may already be evident (to the discerning reader, that is) from the way in which I've written this very reply.
