Oh wow. Just...wow. This is so in character and perfect for Persuasion because it's now so very likely that these thoughts went through Lois' mind either while on the K or not. And Clark's very succinct thought about Lois' importance is also very in character because Clark is a man of few words, but what he DOES say is so...on point that no other words are needed.

I'm off to peruse the rest of your Clois stories, :D

Oooh, that was lovely. So like Lois to worry about how much she loves Clark. I also love all the things she sees in him, and all the special memories.

I love the play between the two vignettes. It's perfectly appropriate with the characters and so telling in Lois lingering on the ways that she loves him and how she fears she's not enough. And Clark? Sometimes he just is so sure of things, as you wrote him, here.
