[Mozart's actually trying to work. He has things to write and he's pretty sure he is actually missing a few things. But there's some bedsheet ghost bothering him, trying to take his bedsheets and he just can't work under these conditions.]

Would anybody have any idea what is going on here? This creature keeps bothering me and I am trying to work. ( Read more... )

[tries to not burst out laughing as the creature keeps bumping into the man on the screen.]

I don't think it's going to leave you alone until you meet its demands!

I would love to hear it sometime! What kind of music do you make, Maestro? [-SAN] If I'm not keeping you from disposing of the sheets!

I make all kinds. Sonatas, concertos, masses, and of course operas. I have done much. [Definitely bragging here.]

[He's a little horrified at this.] You do not know?

Oh dear. Let me correct that then. [This bedsheet ghost can wait! He moves from his room to where the piano is situated as he sets the dreamberry down.] This is something I wrote. [And he begins to play this]

[listens with a look of pure fascination on his face, clutching his Dreamberry as the music floats into his own room. When Mozart is done, he looks amazed and delighted]

The things you can do with that instrument! You wrote that? It's so fast! What is it called?

[He's pleased he's so happy with the music and he smiles.] It is my piano sonata, no.1 in C. Plus some other terms that I am sure you wouldn't be interested in. But yes, I wrote that. I have written many things. Would you like to hear more?

[He quickly begins playing again and now is playing this. When he's done, he smiles to the other.] And how was that?

[he's not sure whether he should make some sounds of appreciation during the performance, or shout, or what. It's clear that the other man likes being complimented, but who doesn't? He's glad to indulge him, and he really is fascinated by the music, which is so quick and upbeat.]

I'm not sure how I can compliment you adequately, Maestro-san. This instrument you are using, is it Western?

If you would like to tell me my music is wonderful, that would do well. [He grins and then goes to answering his question.] The instrument is a piano and well, where do you come from? So many people from different worlds, I am not sure at all how to answer your question.

Ah, Kyoto! Japan. I met someone from the future, too! It kind of makes me feel like an old man. [scrapes his throat, but smiles]

Oh, you are Japanese? I have met quite a few of you! A shame that I still do not know much about your country at all, but from what I gather then yes, this instrument comes from the west. Italy, if you have heard of it. What year are you from, though? I have met people from the past and from the future. It's very fascinating.

Ah-- Genji 1. But that is our way of saying it, I doubt you would be familiar, Maestro. I haven't heard of Italy! Is that where you are from? Where is it?
