Fran's eyes drift between the loud boy on the staircase and his distinctly open bedroom door. It was convenient that Ryohei'd been in too much of a hurry to lock up--now Fran would be able to get in to chart the space's interior without suffering an assault to his ears.

Best of all worlds.

Actually...the 'best' world would be whichever would make this task easiest. Meaning that the winner was the world in which Fran could think about the room and have its contents record themselves to his notebook via magic.

Shame he didn't live there. That'd be nice. Maybe someday, though, right?

With that, the boy slipped into room 402, frog hat grinning with devious glee.
