Post a memory of me.
It can be anything you want,
just so long as it happened.

Then post this in your journal.
See what people remember about you.

You've already read the story about Helen...

I remember you sitting next to me on the bus on the way to the crocodile place...and on the way back too...and we told each other what our lives were like at home and I couldn't beleive that you would be so different. And it was so good to talk to you like that. I didn't really think you noticed me amid the chaos of 40 other kids.

more of favorite story dad told about us when we were little thn an actual memory.

ACCORDING TO DAD

you were 3 and i was 5. dad had taken us to the park. you and i were walkin around when these two 9 year olds started pickin on me. me being the quiet one just kinda was lettin it happen. however, you spoke up and said "leave my brother alone." one of the little bastards shoved your head back. while they were laughing i took that opportunity to punch the s.o.b. right in the gut. the kid was on his knees out of breath, his friend was stunned, and dad was laughing uncontrollable 20 yards away. it was then that dad started to intervene and things got better rather quickly. youve always had my back and i always got yours.

I think this was the last time I was in your house.

Brett and I were upstairs in the kitchen with you, and I was playing my gameboy. You two were having some involved conversation, but I really didn't give a damn; it's gross how engrossing that thing is. At some point you hug me, for whatever reason (unimportant). The important thing is that it was one of those long, BFFL hugs, and then Brett finally chuckles:

Brett "Doug, are you still playing that game?"
Doug "Yeah, but Di, don't move."
Diana (laughing hysterically) "You're what?!"
Doug "Di, don't move! I might die!"

Yeah, that was pretty funny.
