i was looking at my userpic and thinking about how much has changed between the moment i took that picture and where i am today. that bear (ianbear) is still with me (though the smirnoff is not), but my life is in such a different place than it was in summer 2005. it's incredible to think that a year or two could have made such a difference. i

For one, ditto on the first paragraph. So much has happened between Summer 2005 and now, that when I look in the miror I'm still left aghast by how much has changed in so little time. And like you, I'm quite happy here.

As for Valentine's Day, its probably not absolutely necessary to get him something, but I'm sure he'd like it if you did. Suggestions are hard to come by (too bad you can't do what I'm doing... awww yeah) but even something small, like a card with your art + memories would be excellent. Last year I borrowed an empty wine bottle and put a rolled-up note in it, and left it on the person's door (they were out, and she was a crush, not an SO). She liked it.

I'm also wondering what I'm gonna do. I have a few ideas, but nothing is crystallizing. Good luck with it ^_^
