Dang...I as gonna reccomend writing it on a bat in black magic marker and beating him to death with it. I guess you could alywas use the old guilt road: "Everyone else is glad to see mom the happiest she has been in a while, why aren't you?" Mind you this quote is the idea or line of thinking I would go with because it is very hard to back out of without thinking or coming off as an ass. So he will either have to think of an answer or shut up about it to keep his holier than thou record clean by not looking like an ass as the only main family member not happy to see your mom being happy. I do not know if this helps but I hope so. In the worst case scenario I wish you the best of luck on this and I am here if you need someone to talk to :o)

I agree with asking, "Everyone else is glad to see mom the happiest she has been in a while, why aren't you?"
I mean, seriously... It is VERY selfish of him to be acting like that. I'm sorry that you and your mom are in that position :(
Hopefully his attitude will improve... If not, that's really his own problem. Just continue to support your mom :)
