Watchmen Review

Saw Watchmen Friday night and I loved it! I really got into the characters (which is saying alot as I very much disliked Silk Specter II in the novel). The action was great, the characters were very accurately portrayed, the gore wasn't as horrible as I was led to believe, and I didn't really mind all the blue body parts :)

I really liked this movie

i like your review. I actually saw the midnite showing and I saw it yesterday in IMAX. It was better in IMAX

I liked it - I think it'll bring a lot of people to the book. I think the ending actually worked better, at least for film, although I do miss my giant alien space squid and hope it comes out on a T-shirt protesting the movie though.

I'm going to have to re-read the book, but don't remember the differences with R & the killer.

OMG I had the exact same problems with the film that you did. I'll have to write about it in my on LJ so I don't take up too much space here, but the way Rorschach killed the guy in the film had nothing to do with the reason why he actually did it. It took the focus away from the little girl and put too much emotion behind his actions. Violence isn't an emotional response for him--it's a tool.

The only thing I liked about Ozymandias was his headband.
