This was brought about by two anon comments made on the concrit post: here and here. My own opinions about whether some of the things said were constructive or not aside, it did cause me to go back through my manga and reread it.

Ramblings about stuff )

I dunno, being bitten by a tiger hurts like hell! It's all those carnivore teeth and so forth. That said, granted. She doesn't claw them, she just bites them.

She doesn't act violently in the rest of the series, however we haven't really seen Kisa outside of her comfort zone other than her first appearance. She has the support of the other Sohmas, later on she gets her best friend back, and Kisa is back to where she feels comfortable. I guess what I'm trying to articulate (and this is why I should never try and write long things during semester break!) is that Kisa can fight back sometimes, and that she won't always crumple up and just take abuse.

We don't see a LOT of chracters that often. :O (I think Ritsu gets a MENTION maybe twice after he appears.)

Hm... I wouldn't say her biting Tohru/Haru is an example of that, but...

The only thing I can think of is when they're at the summer house in volume 11 or 12... Kisa asks Hiro "Hiro... are you causing more trouble for nee-san?!" And then... runs off. Albeit, it's HIRO...

But Kisa is like, 10, so...
