oh wow! a chinese valentine's day! that is quite neat, hehe! Is it like the western version? or are there differences?

Hmm...i think totally different. For us, it is July 7 by lunar calendar, and it came from a romantic fairy tale, a love story between a fairy lady and a normal man. But nowadays in fact less Chinese people pay attention on it than western one.
