Even where oxygen deprivation is concerned I am at heart a scientist, although not a particularly good one. I've been having fun with whip-its. As in, you take the refill canisters for whipped cream and the like, put it in a balloon and then inhale it until your brain goes goofy. So I started conducting experiments to see how my brain would ( Read more... )

What were the two different hallucinations?

Well when I had both feet on the floor I had this tingling sensation running down my body in a straight wave, but my body was at an angle so my toes felt it as it hit midway down my calf. So I put one foot on a table to see how that affected the waves, but I felt it exactly the same the first time, and the second time I felt two completely different things in either leg. It was really cool.

Well it's nitrous oxide that's being pumped into the lungs, so there is still some oxygen hitting the brain, although less than is needed. But most of the oxygen depriving side effects mirror suffocation so as long as you take a good air break in between hits it shouldn't be too bad. It looks like the biggest problem that prolonged use deals with is a vitamin b12 deficiency. But with the amount of brain cells I lose due to drinking I'm hardly worried about minor spurts of oxygen deprivation.
