Okay..here's the thing. Lately I've been listening to japanese songs other than Arashi's. Not that I've changed my fandom..But I really love jballad especially those songs sang by female singers..Here are some of the songs I've discovered lately and really lovin' it..

hmm. i dunno if these are considered ballads, but they are good (i feel haha. dunno if our tastes will be similar).. btw it's good to listen to other songs too! a balance! :D if not you'll get pretty tired of only listening to male voices..

nakashima mika (her voice is good):
- yuki no hana
- mienai hoshi
- find the way

oku hanako (I LOVE HER TOTALLY!):
- all her songs are really nice. (BUT to take note, her voice is a little towards the cute and sweet side.)

ikimono gakari:
- YELL
- nostalgia

aoyama thelma:
- wasurenaiyo

crystal kay
- i can't find the song that i loved a lot and i can't seem to remember. but she's good.

yeah I really should balance the songs that I listen to..

wow..i never know about the songs you've listed..this is really something fresh for me.and it's good to know other j-artistes too.

Hello! How are you?

Before i got into the Arashi fandom, i was into Hirai Ken alot, you might want to give him a try if you're in the mood for male Japanese singers. The man is unique in music and imagery.

When it comes to female singers, Mika Nakashima comes out tops =). My favourite song from her is Stars. Can't get enough of it! XD Then you might also like Aiko, Ai Otsuka (please listen to her live performances, not the PVs or recorded music), then maybe Dreams Come True? The female singer in there is beautiful. Nino did a cover of one of Dreams Come True's songs. Winter song. I think you can find the Nino cover in Aibakaland =)

i know hirai ken.he mentioned before he likes to listen to kitto daijoubu and even dance to it.and I've listened to some of his songs and it really nice..

Mika is really a top choice if we're saying j-ballad.her song yuki no hana even has a korean version of it.never heard stars.if it is your favourite, then it must be good. Is Ai Otsuka sound better in live? only listened to her PV's..
