My god! That's sounds like the best vacation ever! You'll will have to tell me about your routing and where the cabin is with iron wood stove. I'm glad you guys had so much fun...

Thanks sweet boy! (congratulations to you, by the way!!!)

The cabin is owned by my family since 1906. It's just outside West Yellowstone on Hebgen Lake. It used to be just one small 15x30 cabin with no plumbing (heated water on the wood stove for washing, and used the outhouse... brrrr). In the late 1980s the family built a second cabin. This one has a second story, bedrooms and plumbing. Thank goodness for a warm shower at the lake!! It's still really rustic, with firewood piled under the stairs, wool blankets, magazines and games. It's a very therapeutic place. I was thinking of bringing a gang of friends up some year. It's always more fun with more people. I know you guys would love it. Let's keep that in mind.

My god, sounds like heaven on earth. We could bring a dutch oven for some late night cobbler, and make some fire chili for those corn muffins!
