Hyperion is almost as big as Mimas - which has enough gravity to force itself into a sphere - yet is not remotely spherical - instead, it looks like this.
I love the look of Hyperion - it's like nothing else in the Solar System. To me it looks like a sponge - which might not be far from the truth. I love those steep crater walls and the shearing off of them - it makes me think of pieces sliding/collapsing inward, slumping in to fill some of those huge voids within. Would love to know what deep radar would tell us - I want a 3D map of that moon...
