wow! if my family had the money, I would want to do that in a heartbeat. I would like to be an exchange student in africa or india. (but the disease worry might keep me away even if i had money....)

When you enter some foreign countries, you are required to get immunizations. I don't know which exactly, but I know it's true for Brazil and I know it's true for India, and I'm sure it's true for most places in Africa.

Oh okay. I was just wondering if you had a facination with Japan or something. I wasn't saying, "WHY JAPAN, THAT'S STUPID."

I would be an exchange student, but I'm really white and really American, and I would have trouble adjusting to the food and all that. Incidentally, isn't it ironic that we're so xenophobic here in the US while claiming that we're the cultural mixing pot of the world? I'm sure someone's said that before, but I don't remember it.
