darling you. it's wonderful to (still) be able to inspire someone like you. i guess this journal is - in addition to being an outlet for my somewhat chaotic mind/thoughts - also a way for me to share all things i find uplifting, beautiful, too good for missing out on. books and films and links and photographs, details that “keep me going” and manages to make a dreary day a little better for a few whiles. to be able to share all of this with people i adore, it's golden, truly.
another weekend. tonight i'll break my seclusion, wear something black and smashing while “hanging with my sister + friends”, get moderately trashed on blood red wine and hopefully have a nice time. then at the stroke of midnight i'll bid my usual strange and sudden adieus, take myself home alone to this appartment, climb into bed and stare heavenwards at the ceiling until dreams cover my eyes and i'll finally get some Much Needed Sleep. tonight i think, will be Fine.
oh, my. i wish i could just sit down somewhere really cozy with your words and wrap myself up in them. there is so much in this, i can't even gather words to respond correctly.
come here and wrap yourself up in my words(!) (smile) i'll have delicous tea ready and we'll try to listen, try to hear the silent falling of snowflakes against my rooftop. it will be cozy & above all, it will be beautiful. ♥
One theory of who we are is that we are the sum of what we will and won't let be done to us. (So) Thank you for protecting your brows with such vigor! Blink is good, but Outliers is more humanistic, perhaps better. I love that your sister has 11-minute-or-less psychic magnetism to your location.

my brows shall be protected always(!) as they are my only feature that i'm Super Fussy about. meaning they have to look FIERCE - every day at all hours at all costs, don't ask me why. at least when i'm dead people can peer down into my figuratively open/ed-for-the-occasion casket? with disturbed curiosity and conclude; “what a shame! but her eyebrows are a dream.” or something. &shall have to check out outliers, though first i'll have to re-borrow blink as apparently MY TIME OF BORROWING, is up (frown) how unfortunate.
I've eyed this entry wistfully for the past few days, and always put off reading it until I had the time put aside to sink into it the way I just have. I feel like I've been hiking through the past month of your life with big boots and they're caked with snow and mud. It may be best not to ask me why. I hope that, in all the madness and the furore, you'd found a few quiet moments of peace and reflection. I've missed you, mademoiselle.
“hiking through + big boots caked with snow” is a very accurate and precise way to describe all of this. i certainly feel like that's exactly what i've been doing these last months(!) i am now home again and everything i've been keeping at distance is coming back to me, i'm tired and almost “afraid” but it's kind of a relief to be here at this point, once again. with the holidays coming up i'm sure there will be more than one moment of peace/reflection, rest and winding-down. and there will be xmas holiday electronic conversations between y o u & m e because
thank you & lovely, that you think so. and regarding ubik - so i've heard indeed, and i intend to investige further in a near distant future. a bit tricky though, with my reading-list being of such Massive proportions (smile)
