are you enjoying it so far? have you read her short story johnny panic? that is, i think, my favourite piece of hers. but yes, it's a pity she didn't write more novels, i think it would have turned out beautifully.

because people have commented that it is quite autobiographical in nature, it's a little depressing when i read it, because i think about plath's real life and how she ended her life and what she must've been struggling through each and every day. plus the content is very heavy on the personal struggle of a young girl dealing with a mental breakdown ... with institutionalisation and treatment and so on.

i haven't read johnny panic, but i'll keep a look out for it.
