So I know this may sound lame, but I really dig on your sci-fi club idea. I will be in Washington however, so if you do this thang send an email or post what movie your going to be watching - I would be down to rent it or buy it. I like the idea of expanding my movie experience spectrum :) I'm more into the fantasy stuff but I DO like science fiction. I LOVED the exerpt by the way. *smile*

The good news is I would probably make an LJ for the group and post the monthly happenings. That way you'd know what we'd be diggin' into for the month. The idea is to cross all genres including sci-fi, fantasy, and anime... pretty much what most of us like anyway. You are always welcome as a member and a friend, 400 miles away or not.
