Seriously, What a Trip!

Last night, I met my friend Whitney to see Inception. We both bow to the creative genius that is Christopher Nolan and he certainly didn't disappoint. No spoilers, I promise. The story is seriously twisted and the effects are seriously on point. I love that he consistently brings good actors - some like Cillian Murphy, Ken Wantanabe and Michael ( Read more... )

I saw Inception today too. I couldn't help but howl "F*** you, Nolan!" at the very, very last shot as the screen went black. It was good. :D

This is Michelle, btw. pktaxwench introduced us a couple weeks ago at Downtown Disney...

Some guy at the back of our theatre screamed, "Nooo!" when the last shot faded to black. (I will admit to having my suspicions...too easy, too clean and Nolan never plays it straight like that.)

Good to hear from you. I'll definitely add you to my f-list.

Okay, I deleted my original response because I think it could be construed as potentially spoiler-ific.

The ending was ambiguous. I want it to be how it's shown, and the sound effect supports that (those items shouldn't make that much noise, so it's either intentional or a bad foley effect), but there are enough things that point otherwise, too. Definitely need to see it again. :)

Have not seen any of the Twilight movies, or read the books. Tried to read them, but could not. I will make no comments about them. ;)

Seeing Inception next weekend as we'd made plans, this weekend, to see Eclipse again, also. I'm so glad I'm not the only one on my f-list who will have seen this 4x lol

If you like Nolan's other work, you'll like Inception.

Eclipse was in a very small auditorium so I know my days of seeing it in the theatre are numbered. That's the problem when they release a movie like that in the summer. It's gone in a heartbeat. (No pun intended in this case.)
