It had been a week since he'd last seen her and already it felt like forever. He heaved a sigh, realizing that Wrath had no idea what toll splitting up his unit had taken out of him.
"Thanks for letting me stop by." He murmured almost incoherently.

"Would you like some tea?" She asked calmly as the kettle started to whistle. Riza always kept a special blend of tea for situations like. The routine had started when she returned from Ishval and the plaguing nightmares of shell shock and screams used to keep up her up at night.

"Unless you have something stronger." He added a little too hopefully, mind mulling over the past few days' events. He'd been harsh with Edward, but he was hurt. It was hard to be delicate when Ed was lashing out like that.
The only thing to do was wait for his memory to return, and the thought was... rather unsettling. He felt guilty for sending the boy up to Briggs with the mind of his 12-year-old self, especially so spontaneously, but, he felt like he had no better option.

She had to know what was going on, it was almost breaking her heart that he was acting like this? Resisting the urge to move next to him and hug him, she decided to sit opposite him and wait until he wanted to tell her what was going on.
