I think that living the life you want to live is going to be incredibly difficult, because you are going to have to deal with the fact that as one single person, you cannot effect change on the sort of scale that you would like to see it.
But I don't think your ideal mindset is unrealistic. I'm trying to find that for myself right now, on a different scale. Maybe we can talk about that a little bit on Wednesday.
Until then, I'll just drop a little bit of advice on you that you can let macerate for a little while.
It's okay to feel directionless, at least for a little while. Go ahead and drift for a bit. See what gets tossed your way. I think if you stop working on the problem, you'll notice that you've solved a lot more of it than you realized.
