It's a... um... it's just one, actually... A football. Unless you have more than one, then it's footballs...

But, um, a football is... well, it's sort of ovalish... and it has white things so you can hold it better! And to keep it together.

And it's reddish orange! And bumpy!

And when you get them thrown at you you start running!!
