An ex of mine Imed me today. He told me his story in a nutshell of the past few years and a lot of bad things have happened. But then he said something that took me by surprise. He apologized for being who he was when we were together and that I deserved better than that. He said he wanted to reconcile the past and hopes to start a new future

I haven't heard from Lyssa in like two and a half years. Rumor has it she's married and junx.

Nope, not him. I think I would be incredibly shaken up if it were. Nope, this was another bad decision. He had/has some issues..some major issues. We were together for a year and some change in highschool. He wasn't the best thing to happen to me. But last night, he came close to admitting I was the best thing that ever happened to him...and that was just weird. I just woulda thought that he would have long gone forgotten me after 6years.

But you're absolutely right. The both of us are better off with our current significant others! =oD

It's amazing what those ghosts can do to you. And the worst part is that once they become ghosts of the past, everything changes. And if they reappear, you and they are on completely different levels. They may be okay with it, you may not, and visa versa.

Just keep in mind that there's a reason why those people are in your past, not your future. It helps with my sanity.
