Well, you see, I was eating breakfast when my brother pointed out that some squirrels were fighting in the back yard. At our house, it is not unusual to see squirrels chase each other, but these ones were actually catching each other. They were boxing with their little front feet and biting and each other; it was horrible! Then, the one who had been chasing the other finally caught (what I assume to be a) her with a good grip and started humping her. It was quite disturbing really. I didn't realize until the last minute that they were "making love not war." So that, my friends, is why I have watched squirrels mate.

Coincidently, one squrrel was black and the other was grey. Will the babies be bi-racial?
