Sounds like you are one of the best Christians I have had the pleasure of meeting then. A lot of tbhe Christians I've met get caught up in what the Bible says and interpreting it just right that they forget the real message behind most of it, and what the religion teaches in the long run.

or what I hope it teaches in the long run. : )

I believe most people get caught up in any number of things and forget the real reasons for living life as a whole.

Religion does not equal spirituality. This is a pretty big thing most people don't get. And without spirituality, religion is often an empty shell.

Judgemental / Closed-or narrow-minded / Unconcerned with those who suffer / Discriminatory towards those who do not meet the typical definition of "spiritual" / Teetotalling (ha!)

hey, i LOVE tea! ;)

actually, since Christian is derived from 'Christ', i usually try to term Christians as being 'Christ-like'; and he was just a pretty cool bloke; hang out, drink wine, don't let people ruin temples, love people. . . i can get behind that. . .

i think those who get too caught up in terms of religious practices usually deserve the other labels that go along with christianity - being catholic, lutheran, baptist, etc. therein lies the dogma. Christ was all about love and peace and the occasional pierogie.
