I want to start home-brewing beer and mead. To do this i need equiptment, which can get expensive for a poor college kid, but in the long run it's all pretty cheap. A good startup cost is about $100-150. The best option i have is to  team up with someone and brew with a buddy or two, but I don't know anyone who I could team up with that'll be in

Hmmm...indeed. I talked to Matt about their beer that's supposed to be ready on the 30th. Fat Cat Ale they call it. But that's a 'homebrew' at-the-factory kinda thing. I wonder if they'd have the time to brew completely in-home. Almost like a bootleg basement hooch operation, but legal and whatnot.
