singlemindedly openminded. The state of being in which one is so convinced that openmindedness is best that one closes one's mind to the opinions of any apparently singleminded individuals. In this state, one also closes one's mind to the chance that one is closeminded at all.

Yeah, being openminded tends to get you to stereotype other people as singleminded or no-minded. Just because people aren't into the same things as you, or go with "the crowd" doesn't make them stupid or single/no-minded.

yeah. its ironic, though, because these same people pride themselves with being open-minded, when they are in fact being pretty naive.
