I'm seeing this this weekend. I haven't been to a theater in years, but this would mark a special occasion.

I'm in China and they have NOTHING here. Yeah, there's the black market but the quality has not been the best... :(

Let me preface anything by saying that I hate the recent rash of kids books cum cinema as of late. But it really looks like Spike Jonze might have the chutpah to get it done correctly. Throw in a Karen O soundtrack and I'm all ears and eyeballs.

Also, wtf are you doing in China? Don't you know they hate girls?

I remember when James and the Giant Peach was turned into a movie. Fortunately for me, it was right after reading the book in the third grade. So watching the movie was a monumental experience for me. I don't think I mind the children's stories to movies though. As long as I don't have to sit through the bad ones.

I'm in China because it has the bling bling now. And that matters a lot to a college graduate. :)
