Excellent portrayal of life-changing emotional upheaval! I love that you don't treat this moment lightly. I feel the angst, from their poses & expressions, to the coloring in the background. Your use of mirrored poses & the fact that their toes are touching tell me that they're sharing the same growing pains & may share a future together too (fingers crossed). I think soft pastels can smear so easily (they did for me) & admire your drawing & shading techniques, as always. ❤
