Let's face it, last December was shit. This one WILL NOT BE. I'm soaking up every holiday movie and every Christmas carol. Griffin is so excited and I have to admit that it's absolutely starting to rub off on me and I couldn't be more stoked

I LOVE Baby It's Cold Outside! The one from Elf with Zooey Deschanel is probably my favorite.

Griffin just watched Home Alone for the first time last night and I'm glad to say it's held up--he LOVED it and cackled all the way through.

My all-time, forever favorite is "Little Drummer Boy", specifically Bob Seger's version. I have loved it since I was just a little girl, and that's never changed.

I also love Baby It's Cold Outside. I especially love the Zooey Deschanel version, although Glee just did one with Kurt and Blaine and I love it!!

I'm also a sucker for Anne Murray's Christmas stuff because that's what we ALWAYS listened to while we decorated the tree. Especially Silent Night and the Little Drummer Boy. Hers is the only version of that last one that I like.

I always forget about Anne Murray. There was a random cassette tape my sister and I had of children singing the different carols. What I wouldn't give to have it now for Griff! It's funny what sticks out from childhood.

Yes! We overdid it on the Anne Murray when I was little, so to me when I think of Christmas I always hear her music! I think we finally switched over and bought some of her CDs when the record player died. But for most of my childhood we rocked it old school!

I love "Christmas Canon" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. It is, hands down, my favorite Christmas song. I also really like Josh Groban's "Believe." The Polar Express makes me melt. ♥

Believe is incredible, it makes me teary and The Polar Express is seriously magical!
