Make sure you use not-latex-free sponges, as the latex free ones will just soak up the polish and also tend to leave a very rough look to the blending. A good, fine-textured makeup sponge is best

Do you know what brand of sponges you have? I'm pretty good at the actual gradient effect, but I often get the roughness and never knew it was due to them being latex free sponges!
Love all the nails, the eyeshadow looks great too! I also went without any makeup for almost a year and a half and was surprised at how well I still managed to apply full makeup after not doing it for so long. Guess talented chica's talents never fade (:
It's definitely been easy to get back into the swing of it. I've even been able to help my mom out recently with how to apply her eyeshadow. A 55 year old woman who's been doing it the same way for years and years and now she's learning new things! Pretty awesome.

And I LOVE doing the gradient nails. It's super fun. Especially when you can't decide which color you want to use haha good excuse to use 2 or 3 or 4!
