I don't remember how to make the darn things either, so I just replaced the graphics links with my new ones in the html code I already had for this layout. :P
UPDATE** It apparently doesn't work from an iPad, but I can see it on my laptop once I switched to the old version! It's beautiful!!! Awesome work as usual girlfriend!! It took me forever to figure out how to load the animated Spuffy Moodtheme! Hahaha! It wore me out!

I just replace the links to images in my existing html code that I've had FOREVER. That's as good as it gets. Ha! I copied the code for my component layout from a wonderful tutorial eons ago. :)
OMG! Your new layout is gorgeous. I have never seen an animated banner and I love it.
BTW, while I was there I read the tutorial you wrote about hotlinking and I want you to know I think it's excellent. I'm sorry though that apparently many people do hotlink.
Thank you so much! :D I've been making animated banner for myself for years now. I think they're more fun. :)
Thanks for reading my tutorial. I wrote that so long ago. I ran into some pretty awful people that were hotlinking my icons back then. I tried to ask them to remove my hotlinked icons nicely, and was treated very rudely in return by some. Needless to say, I ruined it for them when I outed them, and replaced the hotlinked icons with huge ugly banners displaying their theft. Those hateful people usually ended up deleting their accounts after a few days of unwanted attention from droves of anti-hotlinking posters.
I haven't noticed a problem with my icons now, hopefully, it's not as rampant as it used to be.
Good for you putting the hotlinkers in their place. I haven't heard anyone talking about hotlinking in ages so I think you're right about it not being as big a problem as it used to be. What I do hear about now is people stealing fanfics and claiming them as their own. Not often, but it does happen.
I've read about a couple of incidents of fanfic theft. Talk about kerfluffles! I even saw of a person stealing someone's published work, and passing it off as their own. Attorneys got involved there. Bad bad stuff. I don't know why people think they can post or publish stolen materials and not get caught. Very foolish.
