What would "Northshield" be?

And the reference to the people of Northshield would probably be Skjöldungar (sing. Skjöldungr) "Shielders" [though in period this word would be used to reference 'Danes' after their mythic founder Skjöldr '(lit.) shield', the Anglo-Saxon equivalent being Scyldingas to founder Scyld Scelding. But Owen has said there's a Bardic tradition of using Scyldingas to reference Northshielders, so I think I could use the Norse version with no problem. ;-) ]
