Why is my computer doing this???!!! For some fucking reason, I can't open pdf files. None. My adobe acrobat is not working. I've already removed the program and reinstalled. Nothing. I'll try another reinstall again tomorrow. It worked yesterday; nothing has changed since then ( Read more... )

I can't believe how LONG that goes on for. I watched about a minute and a half and that's all I could take. I'm angry and frustrated, but not THAT angry and frustrated!

Is it trying to update? Adobe Reader always updates in the background, and 90% of the time it won't tell you that it's waiting for your input. While it waits/updates, you can't open any PDF documents. We have this problem at work all the time...

Hmmm....don't see any updates waiting on me, but I'm going to reinstall the new Reader 8 anyway. I have both reader and acrobat but I'm going to remove acrobat completely and see if just reader will work
