Books made into movies

What book(s) do you think should be made into a movie? (I'm talking about books that have not yet been made into movies.)

(I think that the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer would make great movies.)

I need to read that book! I love historial books.

The book was about the occupation of Paris
during WWII.....It was 1941
I think was the title
It was a fascinating story of a Nazi officer who spoke perfect French and English and
hung around with the writers of the day and the likes of Coco Chanel etc.

No the title I believe was
It Was 1941
I would die to see that made into a film
I forget the name of the two main characters, but
his best mate was involved in the plot to assassinate Hitler which made it even more interesting

I would like to see "Alias Grace" made into a movie; it would be very interesting to see how they would translate that sort of novel onto the screen and to see if I could recognize what is left in and out of the movie.

Funny you should mention Twilight, I'm actually in the middle of reading it right now! I love it so far. I'm only about halfway through it, but so far I can say I'd love to see it on film.
