Thanks for the kind words, Eric. It is really kind of a shame that you aren't Drew, Jamie and I's pledge brother, especially since you went to the rush events with me. No disrespect to the Nu class, but if we would have had you as well, Mu would really taken the fraternity by storm. I really see you as a future leader in the fraternity, right next to Jamie, Drew, Logan and I... as a matter of fact, i think that will be our cabinet... Me-Pres, Jamie-Tres, You-Rec, Logan-Cor, and Drew-Hist. Eh, maybe a shuffle or two, but hell, Thats who I'm taken with me if I get a choice. You may be a Nu pledge, but your heart shouts Mu. Ya, I'm sure you are close to your pledge brothers, but after this semester, Mu or Nu...drop the pledge as they become equal. (assuming you are initiated....)

I agree with Shawn. We are going to have on hell of a cabinet one of these days! (even tho i would like to see my name in the prez spot ;-))

So i woke up this morning from about IMs from everyone saying "read eric's livejournal" and i honestly didn't know what to expect. Even if i was thinking clearly and hadn't just woken up, I still don't think i would have expected that. Thank you eric. Not just for the extremely kind words you sent my way, but for the kind words you said about everyone. I know you don't particularly like talking abotu feeling (ewww feelings....yuck) but I am sooo glad you did. Sometimes everyone just needs to let the people around you hear exactly how you feel. WIth that said, I think it's only fair that I return the favor. I'm sure you have probably never worried about this for a second (only silly girls overanalyze crap like that :) ) but have and always will consider you a great friend. No matter where my future leads me, you will have my past, and that can never change. Eric... You are amazing... you never ever cease to amaze me. The way you and I came together is unbelievable, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I was thinking just the other day that I don't know what I'm going to do when I need someone calling to ask if they can sleep on my futon. I never would have thought we would end up being such great friends, but I'm not complaining one bit. Thanks to Shawn for being drunk! College would definately NOT be the same without you being a part of it. I'm almost positive you helped me in most every big decision I was faced with this year. I don't know where I'd be w/o that. You've totally helped me transition away from all my "boys" and are now definately just that close in my heart. It's amazing that in 8 months you can fit right in there with those guys I've loved for more than 8 years. I will miss you this summer and look forward to the next 3 (or more, God help me) years of our college experience. I love you Eric!

Ohhh Eric, where do I even begin?! I guess I'll start at the very beginning(...a very good place to start). Well like many of my college relationships, we owe it all a little thing called the internet. Major props to my man Former Vice President Al Gore for creating it(Is this where I give him a shout out?). And thank you, Ball State for creating a roommate search engine where you can search other people's profiles. Through that, I met Katie Day, who gave me the screen name to one of her friend's roommate for this year. And that's where the magic happened. So it's July-ish and i'm bored at home and I believe I recieve(or sent?) an IM from this Eric Maroun creature. Seems harmless enough. Then the kid had one of his friends(whilst sober, mind you) call my cell phone and say mildly obscene things to me. That's when I knew it...this kid and I were going to get along just fine. What can I say, a mildly obscene phone conversation did it for you. So you've taught me the joy of microwavable instant pasta and powdered cheese, the awesomenesss

In conclusion(and I AM concluding it now, i promise), this past year has been some good shit. And you, my friend, have been a key player in my story of the year in rewind. Now i'm going to end this like it's a college yearbook signage....
