I'm really beginning to bite the bullet and read and reread textbooks upon textbooks about meter, breath, accent, and all the horrible ways poets before me have devised to torture themselves thinking their words do not say, or do not say powerfully, what must be said. i can only guess that you mean me, in discussing the friend with chronic pain? ( though since you were the first boy who i had a really sweet & caring relationship with; young and insane as we may have been; and i've dated few boys that i enjoyed much since then -- read: i'm a dyke -- i think of you as not exactly 'a dear old friend.' that's a very bland term by which to recall one of your first loves, hmm ( ... )

You are so sweet, and hearing from you means so unimaginably much to me. I called you a dear old friend because I didn't want to presume anything, and I didn't think you'd read it, so I wrote for the audience that reads here, which is mostly composed of awesome friends of a recent (and very) significant other. You should check out their pages. They're cool. I'm still figuring out which of them want to talk to me and which ones don't, so everything I put up there was g rated and general, and just barely enough to show I still had a pulse, and where it is, and see if they'd say hi, and some of them did, for which I am grateful and excited...now that you're here, and everything but everything is in the open for whoever, first love is indeed a more accurate description. First great love might be closer still. And while I wouldn't have thought on my own to post anything about the solid month I cried over you, or about how sweetly you listened to me over onion rings in fast food restaurants, patient and perplexed, and tried to explain ( ... )
