It's kind of like how Bambi turned so many people against deer hunting by personifying the animals. I think the effect of that movie, which I saw when I was like 5, is why I don't hunt, because I really have no other moral objection to it and I love the idea of hunting (outdoors/shooting/skills involved.) I just can't get the idea of killing Bambi's mom out of my mind.
