You can't see it, but under that snow, is a large sheet of ice. We had freezing rain for about 10 hours yesterday. It only snowed for a couple of hours late at night. But, I'll take what I can get. It does make me one happy girl!

why on earth do you want snow??
The same happened to us up here - freezing rain for almost a day and then a horrible wind and snow storm for another 2 days - but that was months ago and its still freezing cold here...

I like a little bit of snow. Cause if it's gonna be this damn cold, it might as well be pretty. Also snow gives some grip on ice. And I was hoping for the snow instead of ice. lol. In the end, it wasn't much snow, but it sure was pretty.

Aww... Living in the desert we never ever see snow. Unless it's on the mountains that surround the valley. I used to drive an 82 volvo wagon. It was yellow and it was soo dorky that it was cool. I miss that car.

I wanted so badly to hate that car... but the more i wanted to hate it... the more I love it! I'm gonna be sad when it bites the dust. I'll have to buy a "nice" car.

I live in Canada and we haven't seen any snow yet this year! Of course, when we do get it, it builds up to like three or four feet sometimes... that's around a meter for you, I guess... (?) but I don't know. 36 inches is... hang on... 86.4 cm. That's 3 feet. Thank God for the handy little calculator on my computer. :)

where in Canada do you live??
I live in Calgary and it's about -17 here now, and we've had (lots of) snow since the end of September!
*shivers*

I live in Ontario and it's cold but no snow yet. I almost think that's worse because there's nothing to make the season beautiful yet. Hope we get some before Christmas...

oh I know what you mean!
We've had a brown xmas for the last 3 years or so. Damn chinooks melt all the snow away but it still stays colder than ever anyway.

By the way, is it just me, or is that house across the street from you just about to fall over?

ooooooooooo shuttttt up ...We have so much more snow than that... Actually, I don't know if you're complaing about the snow... But we got so much today, that I had to walk from my bus to my house in like 6 inches of it and my feet were frozen because I had open toe shoes on.

In fact, since it seems that snow makes you happy, I'll take some pictures of it for you and post them soon.
