Thanks, Josh. Yah, it was harder than I anticipated to settle on b/w for some photos! Clearly, I'm backing away from my all b/w plan...hehe.

i like the set a lot! but don't adhere to all b/w...the last image there, with the row of stools, is great, but i want to see it in colour, too...what's the conversion rate there, anyway?

Oh...and I should point out that the reason I saw Japan (specifically Tokyo) as perfect for b/w is because of all the geometry. Actually, my photos are largely unsuccessful for that reason...I don't feel I captured the shapes/patterns/lines the way I wanted too. Not a huge deal (it's not like I was on assignment or anything, hehe), but it makes me anxious for a return...

Really? I get a strong sense of geometry from your shots of the skyscraper district and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Admittedly though, your "crowd" shots do feel like they they are much more about the movement of the people, but I still feel some structure peeking through. Overall I really like your photos though!
