OMG...worse. lol. And it wasn't the smell that was so bad (we had ours served at a restaurant in Shibuya in a soup that had LOTS of gooey stuff in it...so maybe that cut down on the smell?), it was the consistency...holy cow. It was like a giant lump of rotting, congealed snot ("here, eat this!") We tasted it once, paused to find our centers, tasted it again and realized, "Nope. Nah gahn do it." Our friends in Nagoya said even the Japanese consider it an acquired taste, so I guess we shouldn't feel too bad, lol...

Yah...we HAD to eat at Freshness Burger just for the name, lol. I generally dislike fast food, particularly when on vacation, but MOS was actually pretty tasty...Fine Burger, indeed. ha.

Wait...I'm not a huge fan of fast food EXCEPT for McD fries, of which I can't ever get enough...

Which reminds me...I thought the Freshness Burger fries were great, better than the MOS fries. But the MOS burger was, by far, superior to Freshness.

My goodness, the lightbulb vendor photo is certainly staggering and vivid! (In a really good way mind you.)
