Looks pretty nice. Surprised they didn't try to do something to make that 17-55 backwards compatible.

Yeah, I wish the 17-55 was a full-frame/EF lens...then again, it probably would have cost nearly twice as much. For example, the closest FF/EF L lens is the new 16-35mm f/2.8L II, which sells for $1600 (and it'll definitely be a while before I can get one of these.) IS would add another $300-400...d'oh! The smaller (though no less capable) 17-55 is only $1100.

those sample shots are absolutely ridiculous.

$5000 for a camera doesn't seem that crazy when you can get shots like this.
