Even though I'm American in origin, I was not aware of s'mores. I gather they have something to do with campfires, Boy and Girl Scouts, Campfire Girls, and all that kind of thing. My family wasn't into holidays, vacations, or any such claptrap, and as the Boy and Girl Scouts were based in Protestant churches in town, we weren't allowed to join.

If I ate one now, I'd be in serious trouble with my diabetes. So I hope you had one for me.
