CitiKitty Update: Week One

Oh no, I'm getting sick.  :(

lol...this will be quite interesting, no doubt. I've been looking into autoflushers to spare guests any unpleasantness should they use the bathroom after the cat; unfortunately, I haven't yet found a mechanism that works with the industrial-style toilets I have. This is turning into a project...

D'oh! Yep, I wouldn't be trying this if I didn't have a second bath (the CitiKitty FAQ would have you believe it's perfectly natural to share a toilet with your cat, but I disagree 1000%.) Anyway, I'm hoping for an uneventful Week Two...

I was surprised, too. I was actually looking for a litter box that was "functional, stylish and modern" (since there really isn't a good place for the box in the new apartment, I wanted something that could basically pass for furniture*) when I came across all these listings for books and kits to toilet train your cat. After a little research, it seemed the CitiKitty kit had the best rep. We'll see if it's deserved...

*The best litter box I came across that matched my criteria was the Kattbank, but since it costs $2,000, holy crap, I passed...
