So, a partial update on the job predicament I discussed in this post. I told the IT manager that I am interested in knowing more about this possible job and last Friday he told me he submitted the paperwork to upper management, so it was in their hands.  I have heard no official work since.  But I have heard rumors going around this week, one

why are job situations always so complicated? i hope something works out for you eric. even if you don't have a job for a little bit, i think you'll be fine.

and that's reassuring to know you got emails back so quickly from employers by just putting your resume up. i'm going to do that as well.

When you say "debt" do you mean student loans?

Sounds like a tough situation. There is nothing more frustrating than waiting for something, when you don't know what that something means or will bring. I hope they are able to tell you straight and clear what the situation is soon. I also really hope it works out for you, so that you can do what you want to do and start saving up for later. Glad to see an update, even if things are still uncertain.
