Does this mean I need a coffee mug?
Well, this is a follow up to the job thing.
Though the company I work at (the maintenance position) has been downsizing a ton the last few weeks I have secured a position in IT. They offered it to me and I accepted almost immediately. I begin Monday. The official position is Junior Developer, but I also will have to help out with some basic tech support stuff, which I dont mind and I think always comes with the territory. They have to pay me through a contracting company for at least a year as right now they dont want to hire anyone in. I dont plan to stay for long, but I wont leave if things are going well. I'll have to get health insurance from an outside company until then also. As a young, healthy, single, adult I should not need much for coverage. The pay is around $20 an hour, which is fine for me for a starting position. I need experience on my resume to really get up there so I wont be too picky now.
So yeah one of my biggest stresses has been remedied. Now I just gotta work on the single thing ;)
