so I am sure pretty much everyone has seen the news with the big NC chemical fire... yeah.. that's my hometown where my parents live... they've evacuated, but they've left my pets behind, so pray that when my parents get back to my house, my pets are ok! :(

I hope your pets are okay - that must've been a very tough thing for your mom and dad to do :(

called my dad around 10ish... says that things are clearing as far as the "plume" goes... he got about a halfmile from the house where they have it blocked... hopefully they'll be able to get to the house this afternoon.

my bird was left behind. The dogs and cats were grabbed because one cat is on antibiotics and they were running to a friend's house and not a shelter. But tyson, the beagle, did go to my mom's school with her this morning.
